I would definitely go with the Gigabyte board over the Intel. It's worth the extra money, trust me. Also, you selected the Upgrade version of XP, you'll need the full or OEM version. Like this one.

Nano: Doese anyone know? (General Computing)
That is most likely malware that started up on your computer and something (your AV, or antispyware) removed it. You may want to remove the startup entiry, you can do this via a registry cleaner. Eusing Registry Cleaner does a good job.

If you're getting a "Press F1 to continue" message then I'm tempted to say that something is up with the BIOS. When you go into the BIOS menu, is the time correct? Perhaps your CMOS battery died?

I agree with topshoother. You may want to downgrade the power supply, and then upgrade your case. I haven't purchased that exact case, but the last coolermaster I bought was kind of crappy. Overall, that's a really good setup.

You didn't need to use CCleaner, we could have used another feature in RunScanner to stop those programs starting up. Please post a new RunScanner file.Have you noticed any difference?
